Tender for renewable energy supply in El Salvador
The Electricity Distribution Company DELSUR, in representation of the distributors CAESS, AES CLESA & CIA., EEO, DEUSEM, EDESAL, B&D, and ABRUZZO, invites to participate in the bidding process for 28 MW power supply to install renewable generation to connect to the distribution network with photovoltaic and biogas technology for a period of 15 years.
The allocation of the required power is distributed in the following power blocks to be installed and associated power:
- Block No. 1: Solar photovoltaic technology on roof – 9.8 MW
- Block No. 2: Solar photovoltaic technology on ground – 10.0 Mw
- Block No. 3: Biogas technology with organic waste – 8.0 MW
To participate in the bidding process, the interested should cancel a value of USD 3,390.00 (taxes included) and complete the registration process following the instructions contained in the bidding rules, between August 14th and October 10th, 2018.
The proponent that is partially awarded with the supply that is tendering, is obliged to sign a Contract of Supply with the Distribution Company that owns the distribution network where their project is interconnected. In the contract, the proponent undertakes to install the awarded power and to deliver the corresponding energy during the delivery period.
The delivery of the bidding documents is scheduled for December 12th, 2018, from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m., and the opening of economic offers for February 26th, 2019, both events in hotels of the city of San Salvador, El Salvador.
