Extension of Road CA04S, Section III in El Salvador
Ministerio de Obras Públicas, Transporte y de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de la República de El Salvador (MOPTVDU), invites national and international providers interested in presenting proposals to participate in the design and construction of the project Extension of Road CA04S, Section III: Construction of the bypass in La Libertad between km 31.86 (road CA04S) – km 35 (road CA02W).
The project is developed in the Department La Libertad between the Stations 0+000 and the Station 2+100, connecting with the road CA04S, having a total length of 2.89 km. Besides the necessary works, it will be carried out the construction of an exchanger ramp for the incorporation from and to the road CA04S.
The section has 4 lanes of 3.50 m each (2 each way) with a central separator of concrete New Jersey style of 0.60 m wide in a length of 2,100 m and a complementing the transversal section with exterior shoulders of 1.80 m and inner ones of 0.60 m wide.
The engineering design includes the proposal of the new pavement structure, the improvement of the longitudinal and transversal drainage, structural design of the connection exchanger with the road CA04S and of the works of the existent superior overpass on the trace, protection works, identification of affectations, revision and update of the Environmental Management Program, revision and update of the Social Impact Study and the Social Management Program, as well as the vertical and horizontal signaling.
The deadline for the submission of bids is on October 12th, 2017 from 8: 30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
