Certification of the Authenticity of Artistic Works

I would like to begin by telling you that this time you spend reading this newsletter is one of the greatest honors my work allows me. We live in a rhythm of work that demands that we feed every instant of our agenda with a productivity of 24/7. If I’m not learning I’m not getting better and the world moves by leaps and bounds over our heads. And in that process, while we decide the name we want to give to our life project, to that business or to that ultra-revolutionary product in which I’m investing, time goes by, the rental of the premises continues to run, the regulatory permits still don’t leave and the whole operation becomes complicated to start a business in countries where art and culture have been relegated to a “nice hobby” or a “very forward-looking investment”.

Of musician, poet, and madman, we all have a little” (Spanish proverb), and that artistic “touch” is our base on which we are working and it allows us to make that difference in the area to which we have specialized. In the artistic world that concerns Intellectual Property, authorship is that value that each piece marked by the artist can be summarily materialized in a certificate of authenticity of the work, which in many Latin American countries, including but not limited to Central America, is not regulated by specialized Industrial Property regulations. This certificate of authenticity of the work is the equivalent to the title of property for the one who acquires the work, receiving by the Author the patrimonial rights that the Author considers to be good, such as the public exhibition of the works and any transfer of the possession.

This same concept of artistic plane, is the base on which the labor politics are constructed that beyond being protectionist and restrictive it allows the contribution and commitment of the employees to maintain that art and enterprise culture of the businesses. Service industries, such as temporary accommodation and catering, require special attention in terms of staff training as the essence of the experience that customers value when deciding among the countless proposals that the market offers. The basis for this “certification of work authenticity” at the labor level can be established through contracts and secured through constant training of business culture to employees according to their field.
