Syndicated Loan of USD 120 millones for Grupo Monge
Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A (Bladex), financial organization that provides loans to small and medium enterprises, granted a loan for USD 120 million, to GMC Holding S.A. (“Grupo Monge”), a Costa Rican company dedicated to the furniture and electro- domestic retail commercialization.
The loan was financed to GMC from various financial organizations.
Grupo Monge involved the jurisdictions in which the company have presence counting with the assistance of Vanessa Oquelí, Managing Partner of García & Bodán Honduras, Vector Legal, and as lead counsel the firm García Sayán Abogados. Bladex participated no only as a lender but also as a sole lead arranger, and administrative agent.
The resources obtained by Bladex, will be used to refinance the current debt of the company.
