Program of Power Generation of 412.9 MW in Nicaragua

The Program of Power Generation in Nicaragua is aimed to diversify and transform the generation matrix with the installation of 1081 MW in the period 2017-2030. This program includes:

300 MW of thermal energy based on natural gas
93 MW biomass projects
50 MW photovoltaic projects
80 MW wind projects
135 MW geothermal projects
293 MW hydroelectric projects

Estimated cost of investment: USD 1,184.3 million
