Paula Peláez is Senior Counsel at GarciaBodan and a member of the Labor practice in Guatemala.

She has a professional career spanning over 10 years, which has granted her extensive knowledge of individual and collective labor law. She has participated in significant cases related to collective bargaining, dialogue tables, labor disputes, as well as the management of labor relations within companies. She has also been in charge of establishing alternative methods of conflict resolution and labor audits in workplaces.

Recently, she has been involved in cases of preventive labor law focused on the area of human and accounting talent. While her career is centered on labor practice, Paula has gained extensive experience handling cases in various areas of law, including litigation, criminal complaints, corporate and real estate notarization, corporate law and administrative law, which allows her to provide an effective legal opinion in different scenarios.

Paula is known for being dynamic professional with strong skills in conflict resolutions, writing, synthesis, negotiation, and excellent customer service.
