Investment Project

Finance, construction, rehabilitation, expansion, operation and maintenance of the West road CA-4 in Honduras

The project consists on the construction of 106 kilometers that goes from Chamelecón, in the Municipality of San Pedro Sula until La Entrada in the department of Copán; it’s divided in two sections, the first one consists of a longitude of approximately 24 kilometers starting in Chamelecón until Naco, with a highway of four lanes, two lanes each way and the remaining 82 kilometers consists on the rehabilitation of the current road of two lanes.

 The objectives of the project consist on the reconstruction and rehabilitation of approximately 106 kilometers of the CA-4; reconstruction and rehabilitation of the mayor and minor drainage of the area; giving maintenance to the road of approximately 106 kilometers from Chamelecón to La Entrada, Copán, during the Concession; reduce the costs of vehicular operation and traveling time of the users; improve the comfort and the transportation security, for both people and cargo.

 Estimated cost of investment: USD 170 million
