Construction of National Rehabilitation Center in Nicaragua
The National Assembly approved a credit agreement signed between the Government of Nicaragua and the Export-Import Bank of India (Eximbank) which will be used for the construction of the new Aldo Chavarria National Rehabilitation Center.
The new Aldo Chavarria National Rehabilitation Center will be located in Reparto Belmonte, Managua, with a total area of more than 13,661 square meters and will have workshops for the manufacture of prostheses and orthoses, a shelter for amputees that will allow them to go through a process of training and adaptability to their new member.
The construction period will be 36 months and has a cost of USD 20.1 million.
