Construction of the Municipal Market in the Municipality of El Triunfo, Department of Usulután, El Salvador
The National Directorate of Municipal Works (DOM, for its acronym in spanish), to maximize economy and efficiency in public procurement for the local development of the municipalities of El Salvador, invites potential bidders to submit sealed bids for the tender: DOM-LC62/2022 “Construction of Municipal Market in the Municipality of El Triunfo, Department of Usulután”.
The project is located between kilometer 102 of the Pan-American Highway (CA 1E) and Avenida La Paz Sur, in the Municipality of El Triunfo, Department of Usulután.
The project’s main objective is to enhance the infrastructure of the El Triunfo Municipal Market through a new construction with an innovative design that will generate internal and external spaces that are functional, comfortable, and safe. It is intended to promote orderly commerce, strengthen local economic development, and create a healthy and attractive environment for sellers, visitors, and the surrounding population.
The activities to be developed include demolition and disassembly works, exterior works, earthwork, construction of 2 levels, terrace area, construction of administrative office, construction of electrical and organic waste room, relocation of electrical and telephone poles, septic tank and absorption well, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical installations, among other works.
The maximum execution period is 220 calendar days from the date established in the Starting Order.
The contractor must submit, by the terms of the contract, the following guarantees: contractual performance bond, advance payment investment bond and good workmanship bond, the rates being established within the documents that comprise the bases of this bidding.
Deadline for submission of bids: July 19th, 2022, by 10:00 a.m.
