García & Bodán has added another Partner with the promotion of the Senior Associate Oscar Torres Cañas, from El Salvador office, increasing to 9 Partners throughout the region. The promotion was made official on January 11 of the current year.

Oscar Torres has significant experience in the Firm, where he has implemented his legal knowledge, which goes from cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, restructuring and corporate counsel, to banking and financial transactions. He also has a long professional trajectory, with over 14 years of experience, serving as counsel to major international companies in various sectors of the Salvadoran economy.
