The Ministry of Health (MINSAL) started the international public bidding process for the contracting of the design and construction of the specialized external consultation building and Day Hospital of the Rosales National Hospital, located in the city of San Salvador, department of San Salvador.
The capacity of design and works will include all elements identified within the site, which are necessary for the full and efficient operation of the building. This includes interior works, exterior works, parking lots, perimeter fence and signage. Likewise, a pedestrian footbridge over 25 Avenida Sur is included, which will connect the new building with the Rosales Hospital. The contract will be developed in two phases, Phase 1 of Design and Phase 2 of Construction.
The Design Phase includes the completion of all technical studies, procedures (payment of fees / taxes to obtain permits), the final design and the preliminary EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification of the building. The Design Phase will be considered completed once the contractor obtains the construction permit from OPAMSS (Planning Office of the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador).
