McDía Feliz for the children
García & Bodán, contributing with the society, has provided pro bono assistance in the preparation and review of contracts between McDonald’s and beneficiary organizations to carry out the McDía Feliz for the children in Nicaragua and Honduras. That day, 100% of the total sales of Big Mac is donated to a foundation that helps children in both countries.
Through this initiative, McDonald´s has helped hundreds of children through organizations such as TECHO, Helping Hands Foundation, Nicaraguan Commission for Helping Children with Cancer (CONANCA), among other in Honduras and Nicaragua. The organizations supported by McDonald’s are dedicated to supporting children from low income families in different areas such as education, health and housing.
Our contribution has allowed the proper functioning of the initiative and allowed the arrival of aid to the neediest. In Nicaragua we have collaborated in 2012 and Honduras in the years 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015.
