18 million airport remodeling in Costa Rica
It is being tendered the works for the integral improvement of the Tobías Bolaños International Airport, located in Pavas, Costa Rica.
The remodeling includes:
- Improvement of the pavement structure and dimensions of the taxiways through the reconstruction of the pavement structure in order to comply with the requirements of the ICAO standard.
- Removal of obstacles present during aeronautical operations through the removal of ground mounds, light posts and other elements to improve airport security.
- Reconstruction of the passenger terminal, complying with firefighting regulations regarding fire-fighting systems and the provision of spaces according to Law 7600, Law on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities, improving airport services at the same time.
- Construction of a wastewater treatment plant to reduce the impact on surface and underground drains near the Torres River.
- Construction of a parking area with at least 170 spaces to reduce the entry of vehicles on taxiways in order to improve safety at the airport.
