Investment Project

Administrative Center for the State of Guatemala

The National Agency of Partnerships for the Development of Economic Infrastructure is developing the public building project called “Administrative Center for the State of Guatemala”. This project will be carried out in Guatemala City and its purpose is to improve spending and optimize the administrative labors by proximity and concentration of jobs and state services.

Some of the specifications of this project are:

  1. Four basements for parking
  2. Areas of support services for offices
  3. Meeting rooms, services and state support
  4. Commercial areas on the ground floor
  5. Rehabilitation of the industrial heritage of the Ferrocarriles de Guatemala’s property
  6. Extension of the current railway museum

This investment project is close to completing the pre-qualification phase of potential investors interested in developing the project. It is being coordinated through the National Agency of Partnerships for the Development of Economic Infrastructure, which is a decentralized entity with legal personality responsible for developing and coordinating with the competent authorities, plans, policies and standards for the development and good functioning of the alliance contracting modality for the development of infrastructure.

Currently there is no exact date to be able to continue with the bidding process and the bases haven’t still been published.

Estimated cost of investment: USD 240 million
