Construction of 41 social housing units in Juigalpa, Chontales (Nicaragua)
The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), as part of the services it provides to its beneficiary member countries, is granting partial financing for the acquisition of the “Construction of Social Housing for Families in Extreme Poverty, “María Teresa Hurtado”, in the Municipality of Juigalpa, under Loan Contract No. 2245 “National Program for the Construction of Social Housing”.
Social interest housing is a type of housing designed for those people earning less than three legal minimum wages and is intended to guarantee the living rights of all people, considering that every individual should have a roof over his or her head, referring not only to property, but also to basic needs such as electricity and water. These houses will have an area of 36 square meters plus a porch area, fire pit and wet core.
The contractor will be selected in accordance with the procedures of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration established in the Policy for the Procurement of Goods, Works, Services and Consultancies with CABEI Resources and its Implementation Rules.
Deadline for receipt of bids: October 3rd, 2022 until 10:00 a.m.
