Tender for the Construction of the New Headquarters of the Public Criminal Defense Institute in Guatemala
The Public Criminal Defense Institute has announced the opening of a national public tender process for the construction of a new building for its municipal headquarters in Chimaltenango, covering 1,093.46 m², funded by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
The Special Execution Unit of the Investment and Modernization Program for the Justice Sector will manage this procurement process. Companies will be selected through an international competition, following the procedures established by CABEI in its Policy for the Procurement of Goods, Works, Services, and Consultancies with Resources, as well as its Application Standards.
The goal of the project is to provide a facility that facilitates access to justice by offering Defense services to the public. The aim is to provide adequate infrastructure for both users and staff.
This is an opportunity for eligible construction companies to participate in a significant project that will contribute to strengthening the justice system in Guatemala by improving conditions for the exercise of public defense rights.
The tender is not restricted to bidders from a specific origin; national and international bidders from any country are welcome to participate. The maximum number of companies in the consortium is 2.
