EDNA CAROLINA LÓPEZ TOLEDO

Edna López is a Partner and Director of the Intellectual Property practice area at García & Bodán El Salvador.

Prior to joining the law firm, she was a Partner and Country Manager of a well-known firm in El Salvador, where she supervised the filling and processing of trademarks and managed portfolios for a diverse range of international brands, both locally and throughout Latin America.

With over 15 years of experience in intellectual property, Edna has extensive knowledge in the authorization of trademarks for their use and registration and is highly involved in administrative litigation, such as oppositions and appeals in view of the Intellectual Property Registry of El Salvador. Her practice also extends to combating counterfeiting, copyright, and patents.

Edna began her legal career in 2003, gaining broad experience in corporate and intellectual property law, including litigious matters.
