Supply of 115 MW of power and associated energy in El Salvador
Sociedad Distribuidora de Electricidad de El Salvador (AES) has called an international public bidding process for the supply of 115 MW of power and its associated energy for the electricity distributors AES CLESA, DELSUR, EEO, DEUSEM, B&D, EDESAL and ABRUZZO.
The power to be installed will be distributed in two blocks, consequently 57.50 MW will be allocated in the first block for the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 and 57.50 MW will be allocated in the second block for the period from January 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023; block 1 for a term of 12 months, and block 2 for a term of 17 months.
The bidding process will be carried out in accordance with the Bidding Terms and Conditions, as well as in compliance with the laws in force in the Republic of El Salvador, regulations in force in the Wholesale Market of El Salvador, regulations in force in the Regional Electricity Market (MER) and the Framework Treaty of the Regional Electricity Market of Central America, namely, the General Electricity Law, the Regulations of the General Electricity Law, the Operating Regulations of the Transmission System and the Wholesale Market Based on Production Costs (ROBCP), the corresponding Agreements issued by the General Superintendence of Electricity and Telecommunications (SIGET), the Framework Treaty of the Regional Electricity Market of Central America and the Regulations of the Regional Electricity Market (RMER).
All parties interested in supplying the above-mentioned supply in accordance with the bidding conditions and to the extent that they comply with the requirements established therein may participate as bidders in this bidding process.
Deadline for receipt of bids: December 9, 2021.
