The San Juan del Sur City Hall has announced a bidding process for the construction of a boardwalk in the municipality’s coastal area. This project aims to revitalize the tourist area, improve local infrastructure, and provide a recreational space for residents and visitors.
San Juan del Sur is a town in the department of Rivas in the Republic of Nicaragua and is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Pacific coast of the country.
The project is planned to be completed within 90 calendar days, during which the contractor will be required to carry out specific activities:
- Construction of Gateway Arches: One of the initial stages of the project will involve building gateway arches that will mark the entrances to the boardwalk, giving the area a distinctive character.
- Installation of a Decorative Fountain: The boardwalk design includes a fountain with a symbolic emblem, adding a significant decorative element to the public space.
- Construction of Beach Access Stairs: To improve beach access, stairs will be built to facilitate visitor transit, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of the boardwalk.
In addition to the responsibilities and activities outlined, the contractor must adhere to the following conditions:
- The contractor is required to meet the deadlines set in the work schedule, ensuring that each stage of the project is completed on time.
- A representative of the contractor must be present on-site at all times to ensure that all activities are performed according to quality standards and the technical specifications of the contract.
This project is part of the City Hall’s urban development plan aimed at improving public infrastructure and promoting tourism in the region.
Interested companies must meet the requirements specified in the bidding documents and demonstrate experience in similar infrastructure projects.
