Construction of Four School Centers in Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) is providing funding for the selection and hiring of companies to build four school centers in Costa Rica. The funds will be used for the study, design, and construction of facilities in the Guanacaste province.

The bids are part of the Emergency Program for Comprehensive and Resilient Infrastructure Reconstruction, which aims to repair and construct 36 schools across 28 cantons.

Below are the details for each bid:

The Ministry of Public Education is responsible for the procurement of design, construction, and equipping of educational infrastructure. To this end, it invites companies to submit sealed bids for a single responsibility and lump-sum contract, covering all stages of the project from design to construction and equipping of the educational center.

Companies will be selected through an international competition, following the procedures established by CABEI in its Policy for the Procurement of Goods, Works, Services, and Consultancies with Resources, as well as its Application Standards.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Maintenance Statement.

Bid submission deadline: September 3, 2024.
