Guatemala has developed the &#8220;Public-Private Partnerships&#8221; modality, which mostly focuses on the infrastructure sector. Through this type of alliances, the following project can be mentioned: Rehabilitation, administration, operation and maintenance of the Escuintla-Puerto Quetzal highway with Toll Collection.\n\nThis project aims to carry out complementary works of this highway through a public tender, being the Ministry of Communication, Infrastructure and Housing the contracting entity. Currently, the project is in a tender stage.
