However, the conditions of distance, traffic, existing road infrastructure, vehicular congestion, travel time, installed capacity of buses and the lack of alternatives make urban mobility to require creative, innovative proposals and with first class technology.\n\nDue to the current demand of public transport users, the aerial cable car system<\/a> is considered an excellent option to connect different points in different municipalities in the Department of Guatemala. However, it is necessary that the new modality of public service provision is technologically supported and it must ensure its proper maintenance through the support of companies with recognized experience worldwide.\n\nThe Municipality of Villa Nueva keeps receiving bids from the public tender<\/a>\u00a0process until April 2nd<\/sup>, 2018, where the provision of this municipal service is awarded.
