{"id":6389,"date":"2018-01-31T10:00:36","date_gmt":"2018-01-31T09:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/garciabodan.com\/?p=6389"},"modified":"2025-08-11T19:55:55","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T17:55:55","slug":"improvement-of-puerto-el-triunfo-pier-in-el-salvador","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/garciabodan.com\/en\/improvement-of-puerto-el-triunfo-pier-in-el-salvador\/","title":{"rendered":"Improvement of Puerto El Triunfo Pier in El Salvador"},"content":{"rendered":"The Government of the Republic of El Salvador and the Ministry of Tourism, through the Executing Unit of the Tourism Development Program of the Coastal Marine Belt, invites companies and individuals to present an offer for the improvement of the Puerto El Triunfo pier, located in the Municipality of Puerto El Triunfo, Department of Usulut\u00e1n.\n\nFor the reorganization of the pier, which will have a length of 340 meters and down gradient of 0.34% from the current boardwalk to the projected roundabout, it is intended to make the following works: it is intended to start with the removal of the inadequate material up to the indicated levels in the construction plans to enable a filling that supports the structure, follow by the base and sub base. The filling will go to the inside of the sheet piling and will be composed of granular material of various sizes. Once a firm surface has been achieved, a fluid concrete will be placed. The following layers will be placed and compacted properly. The granular material in contact with the sheet pile should be the smallest. To avoid the leakage of fines during the compactions, geotextiles will be placed with enough resistance to the efforts to which they will be submitted.\n\nThe sheet piling to be shaped will be embedded in the ocean floor in parallel with the existing walls with a minimum separation of 0.25 m. on both sides following the gradient, in such way that they remain embedded within the new structure.
