{"id":5378,"date":"2017-10-30T14:28:22","date_gmt":"2017-10-30T20:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/garciabodan.com\/?p=5378"},"modified":"2025-08-11T19:55:27","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T17:55:27","slug":"construction-of-damping-works-in-the-metropolitan-area-of-el-salvador","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/garciabodan.com\/en\/construction-of-damping-works-in-the-metropolitan-area-of-el-salvador\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction of Damping Works in the Metropolitan Area of El Salvador"},"content":{"rendered":"The Government of El Salvador, through the MOPTVDU, executes the Program of Reduction of Vulnerability in Precarious Urban Settlements through the construction of damping works in the Metropolitan Area of El Salvador.\n\nThe Program will finance in its Component 1:\n<ul>\n \t<li>The preparation of a drainage master plan, which will guide current investments in the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bSan Salvador (AMSS).<\/li>\n \t<li>The construction of a set of lamination loopholes with the purpose of damping peak flows, as part of a solution to the flood problem in the (AMSS).<\/li>\n \t<li>The repair of canalization vaults.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe macro drainage damping works that have been planned to be built in the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bSan Salvador, consist of a system of Lamination Loopholes which design has been completed for stages I and II. It will mostly executed in areas of relief topographically depressed (or &#8220;natural lowlands&#8221;) and in sectors where excavation is feasible to increase storage volumes.\n\nStage I comprises the construction of a first Lamination Loophole that will be located in Colonia Luz, to the south of Boulevard Venezuela, between the 25th and 49th South Avenues.
