{"id":4869,"date":"2017-08-30T14:47:46","date_gmt":"2017-08-30T12:47:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/garciabodan.com\/?p=4869\/"},"modified":"2025-08-11T19:55:16","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T17:55:16","slug":"improvement-and-extension-works-for-the-road-ca-5-north-in-honduras","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/garciabodan.com\/en\/improvement-and-extension-works-for-the-road-ca-5-north-in-honduras\/","title":{"rendered":"Improvement and Extension Works for the Road CA-5 North in Honduras"},"content":{"rendered":"The Government of the Republic of Honduras has received a loan from Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) to finance the cost of the II Regional Road Integration Program, and it\u2019s mean to use part of the funds of this Loan to make the stipulated payments in the Contract of the Improvement and Extension Works for the Road CA-5 North, La Barca \u2013 Pimienta.\n\nThe organism Inversi\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica de Honduras (INVEST\u2013H) invites the eligible providers to present sealed bids for the Improvement and Extension Works for the Road CA-5 North, La Barca\u2013Pimienta, that it\u2019s divided in two sections: Section A: La Barca\u2013Potrerillos from Station 192+230 to 204+800 and Section B: Potrerillos\u2013Pimienta, from Station 204+800 to 215+300.\n\nFor the Section A the intervention includes:\n<ol>\n \t<li>The rehabilitation of the existent road.<\/li>\n \t<li>Extension of two to four roads, with road widths of 3.60 m, external shoulders of 1.80 m, inner shoulders of 1.20 m, with median and New Jersey barriers as separators.<\/li>\n \t<li>Improvement of minor drainage works.<\/li>\n \t<li>Horizontal and vertical road signs.<\/li>\n \t<li>Complementary works (bus bays).<\/li>\n \t<li>Major drainage constructions (bridges and enclosures).<\/li>\n \t<li>Social and environmental mitigation measures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nFor the Section B the intervention includes:\n<ol>\n \t<li>Construction of two additional roads, with road widths of 3.60 m, external shoulders of 1.80 m, inner shoulders of 1.20 m.<\/li>\n \t<li>Horizontal and vertical road signs;<\/li>\n \t<li>Complementary works (bus bays);<\/li>\n \t<li>Repair works in the two existent roads;<\/li>\n \t<li>Social and environmental mitigation measures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nThe construction period is of 18 calendar months for Section A and 12 calendar months for Section B.
