The Empresa Propietaria de la Red (EPR) has launched a request for bids for the installation and construction of the Second Circuit of the SIEPAC Transmission Line<\/strong>, a regional electricity infrastructure initiative involving works in Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The process, identified as 2CLT-240820 (D)<\/strong>, is partially financed by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI)<\/strong> and seeks to select construction companies to execute works corresponding to two strategic interconnections of the system:<\/p>\r\n

Agua Caliente \u2013 Sandino,<\/strong> connecting Honduras and Nicaragua.<\/p>\r\n

La Virgen \u2013 Fortuna,<\/strong> connecting Nicaragua and Costa Rica.<\/p>\r\n

The contractor will be selected through an open competitive process with an international market approach<\/strong>, in accordance with CABEI\u2019s Procurement Policy for Bank-Financed Operations and its applicable regulations.<\/p>\r\n

An opportunity for international construction companies and contractors<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

The process represents an opportunity for companies with experience in electrical infrastructure, construction, and installation seeking to participate in regional-scale projects. Bidders may submit their proposals individually or as members of a Joint Venture, Consortium, or Association (APCA).<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

EPR will be responsible for the procurement process and will make the relevant bidding documents available to interested parties through its FILEON Procurement System<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

Bids must be submitted in two separate files,<\/strong> corresponding to the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal, both in PDF format and exclusively through the FILEON Procurement System.<\/p>\r\n

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.<\/strong> Late submissions will not be accepted.<\/p>\r\n

A regional-scale project<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

The SIEPAC Second Circuit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen electricity transmission infrastructure and the integration of Central America\u2019s electricity market.<\/p>\r\n

Participation in a project of this nature requires interested companies to consider corporate, contractual, regulatory, labor, tax, and compliance matters across the different jurisdictions involved.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n
