This initiative aims to promote the development of<strong> geothermal energy in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Interested companies must submit their proposals before August 19, 2024. Only physical submissions will be accepted, and the proposals must be written in Spanish.<\/p>\r\n<p>The geothermal area of the Cosig\u00fcina Volcano possesses high energy potential, representing a significant opportunity to advance the use of renewable energies in Nicaragua. This tender is part of the Ministry of Energy and Mines&#8217; efforts to diversify the energy matrix and promote the responsible use of natural resources.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be conducted in accordance with the procedures of the International Public Tender (IPT) as established in the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) publication titled &#8220;Policies for the Procurement of Goods and Services Financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)&#8221; GN-2349-15, approved by the Bank&#8217;s Executive Board on July 2, 2019, and effective January 1, 2020.
