The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers will contract a consulting firm to carry out the studies of the projects of the sanitation program in priority areas of Gran Puntarenas, Tamarindo and El Coco-Sardinal.
The international tender comprises the first third of the life cycle of the project (Pre-investment) studies: Evaluation and Diagnosis, Feasibility and Final Designs. Subsequently, the Construction stage will be contracted in a subsequent tender.
Stage 1: Evaluation and Diagnosis of existing aqueduct and sewerage systems (duration: three months).
Stage 2: Feasibility studies, including preliminary environmental assessment and Prioritization of Works (duration: four months).
Stage 3: Final designs, including final environmental assessment, for the implementation or extension of the sanitary sewerage system and complementary works.
