It will be re-implemented the Project Railroad Managua-Masaya-Granada. This consists of 59.3 km of longitude and it will be formed by the three following branches:
- Station El Mayoreo – Airport: the railroad will cover the avenue Dupla Norte, continuing with the avenue Joaquín Chamorro and following by the North road, ending in the Augusto Sandino International Airport, which will connect the airport with the city of Managua throughout the main axis of the city.
- Connection Branch 1 – Granada: main branch that connect the urban centers of Managua, Masaya and Granada by the direct line without the need of deviate by the airport bypass. This branch follows the existent platform of the pacific railroad with light modifications in plant and elevation.
- Connection Branch 2 – Airport: branch of new construction that will connect the airport with the rest of the cities through a bypass, without having to pass by Center Managua.
