The Government of El Salvador, through the Executive Autonomous Port Commission (CEPA) and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), promotes the international tender for the financing, design, construction and operation of the works of the Cargo Terminal of the San Oscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez International Airport, under the format of a Public-Private Partnership.
This project contemplates two phases of development:
- Phase 1: Financing, design, expansion, construction, equipment, improved maintenance and operation of the existing cargo terminal.
- Phase 2: Financing, design, construction, equipment, maintenance and operation of a new cargo terminal infrastructure.
Both phases will be carried out on the grounds of the air terminal, located in Comalapa.
Those interested must acquire the Bidding Bases in CEPA. In addition, they may formulate consultations or request clarifications up to thirty (30) days before the date of receipt and opening of bids.
Bids will be received by the Bid Evaluation Commission at a public ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on February 12th, 2020 and the opening of the economic bids will take place at a public ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on March 12th, 2020.
