Expansion of Potable Water System San Sebastián Coatán in Guatemala
The State of Guatemala, through the Municipal Development Institute (INFOM, by its acronyms in Spanish), will carry out the expansion of the potable water system of the Ixquebaj Village, San Sebastián Coatán, Huehuetenango.
In accordance with the public bidding rules, bidders can be individuals or legal entities, national or foreign, as long as they are registered as merchants in the General Commercial Registry of the Republic of Guatemala. The contract will be subscribed for a term of six months counted from the third day after notification of approval of the contract. It may be expanded/extended for periods established in accordance with the provisions of the State Contracting Law.
The specifications that must be taken into consideration are the following:
– The contractor will be provided with a supervised advance of 20% of the value of the contract for the execution of contract.
– The participants of the tender must submit a bid security guarantee for a value of 5% of their economic offer.
– Those interested should make a visit to the site where the work will be executed and must include a record of their visit in the offer.
